Delta Roofing did a great job repairing the wind damage to our roof. They responded quickly, explained exactly what needed to be repaired, and had everything taken care of promptly. The crew was professional and cleaned everything up when they were finished. I would definitely recommend Delta Roofing & Restoration for roof repairs or storm damage.

From the ground, look for missing shingles, loose ridge caps, bent flashing, dented vents or gutters, and shingle granules near downspouts. Hail can bruise or fracture shingles without an obvious leak; wind can lift tabs and break their seal. Stay off the roof, take photos of what you can safely see, and request an inspection if your property took a direct hit. Our ground-level storm damage guide shows what to check.
Repair usually makes sense when damage is isolated and the surrounding roof still has useful life. Replacement is often better when damage is widespread, leaks recur, or the roofing system is near the end of its service life.

TPO is designed for outdoor heat and cold, but roof assemblies expand and contract as temperatures change. The important details are the heat-welded seams, attachment, flashing, and transitions around rooftop equipment. Poor installation or movement at those points can expose a leak path; temperature changes alone do not mean a sound TPO roof has failed. If you see recurring leaks, loose edges, or unusual wrinkling, have the roof inspected rather than guessing from the ground.
First, stay off the roof and move belongings away from any interior leak. Photograph visible damage safely from the ground and call Delta at (870) 393-7555 with the property address and whether water is entering. Once weather and roof access are safe, our crew can assess the exposed area, document conditions, and install temporary protection where appropriate. Keep photos and receipts for your insurer, then schedule a permanent repair or replacement assessment. Tarping is temporary and timing depends on storm conditions and crew availability.
Check the deadline in your own policy and contact your insurer promptly. Some Arkansas policies require wind or hail claims within 365 days of the loss, but the Arkansas Insurance Department says insurers must recognize a good-cause exception when damage could not reasonably have been found in time. Delta can photograph visible roof damage and provide a repair scope; your insurer determines coverage.
Architectural shingles are laminated and often carry higher wind ratings than basic 3-tab products. The actual wind and impact ratings depend on the exact shingle and installation. We can compare available products, ventilation, and warranty terms for your roof.
Photograph visible damage safely, note the storm date, and take reasonable steps to limit further water damage. Review your policy and deductible, then report the loss to your insurer using its claims number or online portal. Keep your claim number, photos, and receipts. A Delta inspection can document roof conditions and provide a written repair scope; share that with the insurer and arrange access for its adjuster. Review the insurer’s estimate and ask about anything missing before authorizing work. Your insurer decides coverage and payment. See our storm response services.
Many architectural shingle roofs serve about 20 to 30 years, but that is a planning range, not a guarantee. Product choice, installation, attic ventilation, sun exposure, storm damage, and maintenance can shorten or extend actual service life. If shingles are curling, losing granules, leaking repeatedly, or showing widespread wear, an inspection can tell you whether repair or replacement makes more sense.
There is no single best system for every building. TPO offers heat-welded seams and a reflective surface; modified bitumen may suit roofs that need a multilayer assembly; metal can work on roofs with adequate slope. A coating may extend the life of an existing roof only when the underlying assembly is sound and compatible. Drainage, insulation, rooftop equipment, foot traffic, and budget matter as much as membrane choice. Delta can inspect the building and compare options; see our commercial roofing and TPO roofing pages.
A premium can change for several reasons, including insurer rates and regional storm losses. Whether your own claim affects renewal pricing depends on your insurer, policy, and applicable rules. Ask your insurer or agent before making a claim; Delta can document roof conditions but cannot determine your premium.
